About Dr. Tran, OD

Sandy Leung Tran, O.D. is a board-certified optometrist on the team of dedicated providers at Astorino & Associates Eye Center in Newport Beach, CA.

Dr. Tran earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University SCCO in Fullerton, CA (2022) and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. She received her clinical training at Ketchum Health, Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, North Las Vegas VA Medical Center, and the University Eye Center at Los Angeles.

Dr. Tran is a member of the California Optometry Association and various local optometric societies which provides a platform for her to keep updated on the latest trends and developments in professional eye care. She practices full-scope optometry with a focus of pre/post-op cataract management, diagnosing and treating various eye diseases, and fitting specialty contact lenses for multifocal needs. She looks forward to providing excellent eye care to every patient.
